This is a modified modified ICD10 listing. I *think* I got all the unbillables out but you get what you pay for.
I went through the AOA handouts on coding and added any systemic codes that they mentioned and I added terms, abbrev, keywords to some codes to make them easier to find. I also tried to standardize the abbrev in the descriptions and added a bunch of qualifiers that were cut off.
I wasn't sure what to keep and what to delete for all those T and Y codes. I only kept the accidental for most things. We REALLY need to have some way to be able to enter a code manually because we will never find the right one scrolling through a list in CPM, especially with all the abbreviations.
FYI- here's some abbrev/modifictaion/additions I added to aid searching:
NPDR non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy
Proliferative DR proliferative diabetic retinopathy
T1D Type 1 diabetes
T2D Type 21 diabetes
w DME diabetic macular edema
CME cystoid macular edema
DES dry eye syndrome
Dry eye
KCS keratoconjunctivitis sicca
PCO posterior capsule opacity
PSC posterior subcapsular polar cataract
GPC giant papillary conjunctivitis
NLDO nasolacrimal duct obstruction
CSR central serous retinopathy
BRVO Branch retinal vein occlusion
CRVO Central retinal vein occlusion
BRAO Branch retinal artery occlusion
CRAO Central retinal artery occlusion
(RCE) Recurrent corneal erosion (need to search with the () to avoid
other words
NTG normal tension glaucoma
CACG chronic angle closure glaucoma
APMPPE Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy
retdegen (to id peripheral retinal degeneration)
unknown (for broad unspecified diag most .9 codes)
Sx symptoms (in codes that are include vague like visual disturbances)
replaced entropian with entropion in trichiasis codes H02.05
replaced limar with limbal on H16.26 code
