Inventory Report for Sales Reps

I would LOVE to be able to run a report when a frame rep is coming in that shows what is in inventory, how long it has been here, and what has sold since the last time the rep was in the office. We would need to be able to add the purchase date and the sold date to the inventory tab, and then be able to run a report showing activity between two dates.  Is there any chance you could add this?

I've been asking for this for a long time and have not had an answe back from any one at crystal if they will add it. I think it's necessary to have an option to include a purchase date so we know how long a frame has been sitting on our shelves. and would love to have this information searchable so we can locate all frames that are over a certain time frame so we can pull frames off the shelf more easily

Although I do not use the INVENTORY portion of Crystal yet - Doesn't the REPORTS section have a pretty good selection of reports you can run by date, product etc?

Not really, none like is being requested.

I type in the "notes" section the date purchased/put in inventory along with the invoice number. We used Opto in the past too and the inventory options were fantastic as you could glance at the report and know immediately which frames you were going to pull for returns. At least now by typing the date of purchase in the notes area I can see how long the frame has been in the office.

We print a frames sold report from the date the rep was last here. Its easy to do. The inventory report is great for us, it doesn't show how long we had it; our reps have complimented us for having a great inventory ready for them.
