There is not a setting to capitalize when you are entering the data but there is a tool to change the capitalization of all of your demographics so they match.
Go to Admin > Patients Double click in the total box on the bottom right. At the very bottom of the page, this will open up a "Capitalize all Patient Information" button which will change everything to a "JOHN SMITH" format or the "Capitalize First Letter" button that will change all demographics to a "John Smith" format.

Talk about an Easter Egg! Handy to know, wish you'd told us years ago! Karen

We don't have that option, there is no total box on the right, and I checked we are using the newest version, any other ideas?

What they mean is at the bottom right side, there is a box that has your total number of patients in the system. If you double click in that box extra things pop up. Hope that helps I was confused at first too.
