When we are taking in New Patient information we get the SSN but when we click the Insurance ID to be assigned to the SSN it keeps the dashes. This is NOT the same as with patients already in the system under the Insurance Tab. In that case when you click on the SSN to pull in as the Insurance ID it removes the dashes. I believe that these should be consistent. The dashes cause an issue when trying to bill. Please correct the New Patient intake to behave like the Insurance Tab.

Yes, this has been brought up before. See Thread 'Medicare ID needs fixed in Scheduler'. It causes problems with Medicare. No reason CPM can't have fixed this by now.
