Our office likes to print out labels with patient name and address on them for postcards- which works great in Crystal! However, we like to put the date of the patient's last exam from 1 or 2 years ago so they know they are ready for their next exam. I haven't been able to figure out a way to add "Date of Last Exam" to the report that prints out for labels. Anyone know a way to do this? Thanks!

Technically, Yes I believe there is a way, but it would require you creating a custom word document using the "general template file" field id's... and then exporting your recall list to the word document.. The field id for last exam is «Last_Exam_Date» ... probably more trouble than it is worth though. We had a similar concern at one time, so we decided to add a general explanation on the back of the card that explained they are due for an annual exam. Not exactly as good as the exact date, but effective non-the-less.

I have not played with printing labels since I make our own customized postcards. I print the address, and add the appropriate fields to personalize with patient's name and last service date. I just wish I could add the next appointment field so I didn't have to WRITE IT ON EVERY POSTCARD!! If your labels have room for the last appointment field, your certainly could make a Word doc for your labels, but it would probably not be as easy as hitting the button in Crystal.

We just integrated with Patient Communicator, it seems the recall report they are pulling, is pulling patients that haven't even been seen by the Doctor. It is also pulling over frame reps, and people that have only purchased something. Where do the reports come from when they pull the information? When I run my recall report I usually go in under "reports" and select the recall option, and then contact old patients and that has been pretty accurate. Is there a way for them to pull the same report I run?
