Is there anyway that the original note in a patient's invoice can NOT be deleted when another employee accesses the invoice?
For instance, employee A made a note regarding non payment on a patient's invoice. Employee B opened the invoice to import the diagnoses codes for the claim and in doing that it automatically replaced employee A's note with Employee B's initials and todays date.
It would be great if A's note stayed on the first line and directly below that, B's initials and date were also listed.
Its absolutely insane for me to have to retype the note that was there from memory because it was deleted after importing the dx codes.
Thanks

You could just use quote feature and add "on hold " as a Status in the admin drop down menu. The daily reports list all open invoices, quotes, etc and the frames page would list anything with "on hold" so it really does make everything easy to find. Plus you can task info to yourself at a future date to remember to look into it...if that helps any...

Are you wanting this so you don't send bills to patients until after insurance has been received? There is a Send Statements Yes/No option on the Additional Info tab. The problem is that you don't know how it is set unless you go and look. If you print past due statements, a pop up will list any patients that have a balance and are set to NO. Marcia

Many patients use the free year supply to have mailed direct or they ordered online through our website...without us being involved, just a really nice check to do nothing...

The frame page & contact lens page status bars are familiar to me. I think I just misunderstood the previous post. I thought it was talking about a similar status option for invoices. Now that I reread it, I understand it differently.
