Is there a way to erase fields on a tab that you copied and pasted from another tab? I no longer want the fields to be linked, but don't want to lose the whole field itself. Or does it retain previous data if I delete the whole field and make separate new ones on each tab?

Or does it retain previous data if I delete the whole field and make separate new ones on each tab? As long as you keep the original fields on one of the tabs, the history will be preserved. I would decide which tab you would like to keep the history on. ****Make a backup of your template first**** Go to EHR->Import Templates/MedRec Utility Click the Backup Existing Templates button and save the file to your computer. Delete the fields from the secondary tab and then copy/paste fields (create new) from the primary tab. That way, you won't have to re-make the fields or the F9's. Paste fields (create new) assigns a new field ID & the field will be independent. You will need to re-do the tab order as well. If you would like any help with this I would be happy to assist on Monday. Just go to Support->Request Support within Crystal. Erica
