Version 4.4.28 was released last night. In this version, there is a modified list of codes available. I created a pre-coded set of buttons that works with this code set. If you would like to import these buttons into your template, please download this file: 2017 ICD10 Buttons.zip (422.59 KB) After downloading it, you will need to right click it and extract the files. If you would like your own custom set of ICD10 buttons, please see the ICD10 Diag Button video here: crystalpm.proboards.com/thread/1032/template-editing-training-videosThis is helpful when figuring out what to have the button search for: ICD10 Buttons - Search Criteria.pdf (265.98 KB)

I have viewed most of the training videos. Somehow, I still don't understand how to get a billing code or diagnosis code into the routing slip from the record (without actually opening the routing slip). Is this possible?

If your template has a tab for your diagnosis codes (A&P usually) entering codes into these fields will automatically populate the routing slip. The same is true for procedure codes.
The routing slip only pulls these codes in when you do one of two things: 1- open the routing slip, or 2- close the record. If you choose option 2, then you obviously don't need to open the routing slip.
If a routing slip has been created, then when someone opens the billing tab, they will be prompted to create an invoice from the routing slip.
Hope that helps.

Yes, as mentioned above you should have an A&P page in your record with Diagnosis and Billing code fields that correspond directly to the routing slip. I have also added a routing slip sync button on my record so that if a Diagnosis Code or Billing Code data is changed for any reason during an encounter, the doctor or scribe just needs to hit the Sync button at the conclusion of encounter to ensure the Routing Slip matches the record. It works every time!

I am just getting into all this so thank you very much for all the assistance!
Is the Sync RSlip button using the Pre-Loaded Application->Reset RSlip?

Make sure that if you press the Sync button that optical hasn't entered any codes into the routing slip If they have, it will wipe out the optical codes and sync it with only medical record codes. (there is a way to re-import optical codes, but is just a few extra steps Also, I'm a little late to the party but we do have a pre-coded A&P tab that I can import in to your current template if you want. Email me erica@crystalpm.com and I'll send you back instructions on how to send me your template. It looks similar to the one Frisco showed you.

Erica, you actually spoke to me this morning and helped me with the clinical decision support training. I have already loaded an A&P tab, updated billing codes, etc.
I am revamping our External and Internal boxes with CDs to trigger diagnosis codes and so far it works very smooth.
Thank YOU!!! Finch
