Here's an odd problem (I think). When I enter a frame into a frame order, save it and go to the Routing Slip, everything looks fine and dandy. But when I pull the routing slip through to the invoice, the frame information doesn't come over. I just get a basic frame with the base frame price. The UPC and price that I entered previously is nowhere to be seen. Has anyone else had this happen? Any ideas why this would happen? It seems to be a regular occurrence with me and has caused confusion in the past when it wasn't noticed until after the patient had checked out. It also does not seem to matter whether I scan the barcode or type the number in - it looks fine until I get to the invoice.

Does anyone have any help for this problem? We have been working to find a reason for it, and are having no luck. We have noted that the correct frame upc and cost shows up in the invoice notes, but the upc does not come to the line item. This has started to be on every invoice I do, so we really would like to get it fixed before we lose money because of it.

Karen I did a dummy order with my test patient. The initial route slip looked like you described, but when I went out, and then back in through the billing tab my invoice looked normal. Frame name, UPC, and price were all listed normally???

And did I mention it doesn't happen to the other staff member entering orders, except on multiple frame orders? It seems to just be me and we can't determine why.

Did you get an answer to this? My opticians have been having this issue for a few months now. Only on Second orders, the wrong frame is pulling into the billing screen. I haven't gotten a response from Crystal help yet. Thanks AJG

Never have gotten an answer, and now it happens to the optician too. So it is completely random, different employees, different computers, different times. Our optician has always had an issue with the second frame problem you mentioned. Either frame does not pull through, or it wipes out the first frame. I have started running a billing code report and looking for all the v2020's and going into the invoices to correct them. Does NOT seem like how it should be, does it?
