We are possibly looking into some alternatives to Allscripts and were wondering what suggestions our practices have. If you list a service that is not already in the poll, I will add to the poll ASAP.

My only issue with allscripts is that it takes forever to load

As someone who occasionally processes refill requests, Allscripts seems inconsistent in the steps it takes to get it processed. I never feel confident I am doing it right.

Dr. First E prescribe worked great in our previous EMR. It costs more than Allscripts per user but we could actually get their meds in real time consistently. NEVER can get them in real time with Allscripts.

Has Crystal PM been able to find a new eprescribe portal? Allscripts is slow and sometimes doesn't load.

I never feel confident I am doing it right. do you even get alert or notifications from allscripts that you have a refill request? I never even know i have been sent a refill request unless i log into allscripts and see the task tab. it’s frustrating

No we do not either. We just have to check it daily. :-(

I too had good luck with Dr. First in a different EHR. I really want to get our office set up with ERx, but due to the difficulties of getting it to load, doc is writing out ALL Rxs by hand
