When entering information to bill VSP through the Crystal program, one of my staff noticed that the VSP "Conditions" list is not available. On the Eyefinity site, if the patient has a condition (such as diabetes or high blood pressure) we are required to mark a specific box when we submit the claim. If the office marks that box, they are paid an additional fee. It is important to us to have that option. Can you please work to include the "conditions" fields within the Crystal VSP integration?

The conditions codes are not all that important, if you are billing VSP through crystal you just need to make sure the DX codes are on your bill listed after DX for routine visit. VSP will see the DX code on the claim and will process for additional reimbursement.

It was brought to our attention that our percentage for reporting "Conditions" dropped drastically, which does affect us (as we were told). We also did notice there is nothing to mark when billing VSP through Crystal to report these Conditions. Which explains our recent drop in percentage. Does anyone know how to link this on Crystal??

they are reported to VSP when you add the code, it just can NOT be the First code. I haven't noticed any "drop" in reporting conditions but I did wish crystal would put conditions in the addition info section or somewhere so it isn't an issue when filing routine claims when it is really just a reporting thing and not a payable thing, anyway.

Are you referring to the Drop since ICD10? There are guidelines on VSP for what the acceptable DX codes are to get your additional reimbursement.
