Update 4.2.6 fixes bug from prev update

There is a fix for linking to drop down boxes in 4.2.6.  I updated my template about the same time as I updated to 4.2.5 and some of my ARRA related buttons weren't working but I double checked the button commands and they were correct.  Updating to 4.2.6 fixed it.  Also 4.2.5 returned the updated Alternate ARRA template (Admin/ Company/Records/check Use Alternative ARRA template) so go ahead and get that update (especially if you are using my template- Cary Optometric/Dettloff). 

There are some nice features in the updates that caught my eye but I don't know how/if they are all working.

• The Diags, Drugs, Extern, Obs, Proc, RX buttons are back on the common med rec toolbar accessible from ALL the med rec tabs. YAY!
• Summary Tab Checkbox- When editing med records, there is a Summary Tab checkbox that allows you to designate a tab as a Summary so it is ALWAYS viewable in the future without having to enter data on that tab. Go to the tab you want to be available and check that box.  It appears to only apply to records created after the tab summary is checked. Not sure if you can check Summary Tab for more than one tab.  
• 
• Back-up- there is a backup top menu bar item that let's you schedule a zipped backup with a password so you don't have to worry about encryption. You can also eliminate the CL catalog from the back-up to make the file smaller. We need a backup function like this so they are on the right track but when I tried scheduling a backup it didn't work so either there is a bug or they need a more idiot proof GUI. I also don't see how to do a one time backup (vs a scheduled backup).
• Editing of Admin Defaults is now allowed.
• Stopped quotes from generating insurance claims. 
• Fixed Shift-F8 and numeric fields- What is this? I thought it would allow the prev values to pull forward on numeric fields but it didn't seem to work for me.

How do you get this version. Is it a beta? My update is 4.1.25 and it says no updates available.

I have the same issue as Brian. Im on version 4.1.25 and it says no updates available.

Hm...I was on beta but then a couple of weeks ago Erica (or someone else from Crystal) posted about some change that was in beta testing and I checked for updates and I was still on 4.1.25 (which I've had since well before the holidays) so I figured I wasn't getting the beta any more.  Multiple people have said they are only seeing 4.1.25 so maybe it 4.2 is still in beta. If it is, I apologize for causing confusion. I wish they would come up with a system to ID beta functions, like adding B after beta items, in the update log.

4.2.5 broke our entire system. took all week to get back to 'normal'. I didn't think I was on beta either, since like you I was seeing versions talked about that I didn't have access to. After last week, I'm kind of scared to try 4.2.6. Think I'll wait awhile.....

Yes any version over 4.1.25 is considered a beta version and has not been released to the public yet.
