Here is also a video that goes over downloading the codes and switching them on. I also go over how to convert the codes in the medical record section Link to YouTube video: Link to YouTube video:

Cool update. I have a question about the downloaded codes in Admin though. We have it selected for the Modified codes, but that's missing items like systemic conditions and medication codes that we use for monitoring side effects of high risk meds (Plaquenil for Lupus for example). Also, Headache is not in the list. I'm hesitant to download the entire list, but maybe that's necessary??

I know there are some we will want, without opening the floodgates.

Yes, I'd recommend downloading the modified and add the ones you want to the list.

I'm assuming we go to Admin>Diag Codes to update/add a new ICD-10 code such as Headache to the modified list. Also assuming once adding "Headache", it will still not be listed when using the Diag Converter or the Convert ICD-10 button. Will or can there be more updates to the Diag Converter/Convert ICD-10 button? Here are some ICD9 to ICD 10 codes that we use that are not listed on your converter: ICD9 333.81 Blepharospasm to ICD 10 G24.5 Blepharospasm 784.0 Headache to R51 Headache 379.93 Redness or discharge of eye to H57.8 Other specified disorders of eye and adnexa 078.10 Verruca to B07.9 Viral wart

in what case would we need this ? when we put in the ICD9, it suggests several ICD10 options already.

Gillian -- in the four diagnosis listed above, none of these ICD9 codes convert to ICD10 when using the diagnosis converter. Try it. It shows 'none' as the match. We have only downloaded the modified ICD10 codes--perhaps these would convert if we download ALL ICD10 codes.

We have only downloaded the modified ICD10 codes--perhaps these would convert if we download ALL ICD10 codes. That is correct. The Modified List only contains codes that pertain to the eye. I suggest downloading all codes so avoid having to manually add so many codes later on.
