Has anyone used Ipads in their office to fill out patient information prior to their exam? I am interested in a way to have patient information directly inserted into Crystal PM prior to the start of an exam.
Thanks!

Crystal definitely has this capability via the secure online forms client. I believe Nic is the one to contact at Crystal about setting it up. We currently use it, however we do our best to steer patients there through a link on our website before they ever come in for the appointment. For our office flow it would take to long to wait on the patient to do that in the waiting room, and we would probably need 4 or 5 iPads as we book every 15 minutes for 3 docs at a time. If you have a one doc practice though maybe it would be more feasible.
I would be interested in hearing how others offices are solving this puzzle as well!?!
Thanks for the Post!

The best thing to do is to get the patients' email when scheduling the appointment and email them the link to fill out the online forms. If you need to get your forms set up, please contact Nic@CrystalPM.com

How do you deal with security. I'm always leery of giving an iPad to a patient and having them walk out.
