I know you can create a button to drop down diagnosis but you really can only enter one word for the button to list, does anyone know if you can list an ICD code and it can list all the diagnosis that has that code

I'm not 100% sure what you're requesting here. If you put "Myopia" in the button, it will show ALL codes in your ICD10 list that contain the work Myopia. If you put multiple words, such as "age-related cataract", it will show all codes containing all of those words. Same thing if you were to just put "age cataract". Please see the attached image for an example of what "age cataract" pulls up. The more specific you get on the description, the less codes will appear.

I was hoping to put in for example ICD-10 code "H40" and it will list all the codes that are H40 with the description (such as H40.041 Steroid responder right eye, H40.052 ocular hypertension left eye, etc)

You could theoretically do this if you went in to admin/diag codes and for every H40 code you edited the description to contain the phrase "H40"... However there are to many H40 codes to really make that a useful diag drop down button. Like Kraig mentioned if you just get slightly more specific with your description you should be able to create pretty useful button where only Steroid Responder codes appear instead of a whole H40 subset. For example on my assesment and plan page I have a buttons for a dozen different Glaucoma subsets for the doctor to quickly find the code. I will attach photos. Note: I added a comma to the end of a lot of the descriptions, which most of the time eliminated the unbilliables (as there are usually not commas in the unbilliables b/c they are incomplete) but this did not always work. Also note i used the full ICD10 download from CPM and did not modify at all. If you are using the modified list or your own list the buttons will have to be programmed to match your descriptions... hope this helps!

friscoeyeassociates your comment help. adding H40 to each one would be a lot of work. I was trying to find a way so I wouldn't have to add so many buttons. like if I had a lid diagnosis I can just click one button and all the lid diagnosis would show up but I might have to add multiple buttons like in your screenshot of your records. unless Kraig have different suggestion for me

In your Diag Dropdown text field, use %H40% and see if that's what you're looking for.
