We just discovered a problem with transmitting prism data on Vision Web orders. When I looked at a patient's frame order from last year, the prism said 1BO OD and 1 BI OS, when it should have been 1 BO OU. I then checked the prism in his Rx and it was correct at 1 BO OU. We pulled the old Vision Web invoice and it listed the prism at 180 and 0 degrees. We had no idea how the BI got in there. I found out today that we received his new order as 1BD OU and the invoice said 270. My optician did an order with Crystal support logged in and, if I understood the events correctly, the prism showed up correctly when she transmitted the order from Crystal to Vision Web but after it was saved, the prism value was changed in Vision Web and when it transferred the data back to Crystal it changed the prism in the order. We don't Rx prism often and our main lab uses DVI Remo so I don't know how long this is going on but it appears to be at least the past year. Crystal is looking into it but I'd double check any prism orders in Vision Web.
