I've been really fishmeckled with the loss of printing the clinical summary on the invoice. It isn't the summary itself as much as med rec fields for pt instructions and pt education that I printed on the invoice through that section. This is information that I want them to have in their hands. I tried putting the fields in the Invoice footer section but that didn't work. I can send the fields to the Default it to the Default Web Portal Information section but that section only prints IF we've already assigned a user ID and password. Is there some other way I can get info onto the invoice or to otherwise automatically print? I know I can put fields in a letter but I don't want to have to select that for every patient.

Fishmeckled, huh? I like that. I'm kind of fishmeckled myself over that too. I really want to be able to set defaults for what prints for all patients from the CS. I don't want to have to check (or uncheck) for every patient. I don't even mind if it prints on a different page, as long as it prints with the invoice and is fairly automatic. And I really don't want the SSN to print on it! Isn't that a HIPAA breach if that paperwork gets lost somewhere? I don't see much need in birthdate and SSN to print on the invoice. the patient knows who they are! That's my two cents worth. Karen

I'll bring this up to the developers. I did ask them about putting the CS on the invoice, but they said "Government said no"... Not sure how we'd set up CS defaults, but that's probably why I'm not a developer.
