For me, I would love to have the option of adding a status tab located within the records tab. Very often, a patient will ask me how long it has been since they have updated their frame. Or maybe I would like to know exactly what contacts were ordered (and when) vs what was given to them in the actual record.
As it is now, I need to get out of records, go to patient, hit status to look up the answer and then repeat the process to get back to the record.
would be a huge time saver to simply have a tab that was closer to what I was working on.

Sorry it took so long for a reply, but I've been trying to figure out something similar that would function as a work around.
In Crystal, there is an option to create a button that will bring up the CL order page or the Spectacle Lab Orders page, giving you instant access to previous orders.
Steps: 1. Go to Records - EHR Settings - Edit Medical Record Templates 2. Add new field then name accordingly in Text box 3. Change Type to Button 4. Check box for Command, then Pre-Loaded Application 5. Select Contact Order or Frame Page, then Save 6. Right-click in template where you would like the button, then Add Field to Tab 7. Click Stop Editing and Save Changes at bottom of page and you're done!
I hope this works for you!
If more people are looking for the same features, please be sure to post your interest here so we can get it over to the development staff!

Hi, actually you can use the pre-load application "rx history" instead and it will display the status page under patient tab! It will show you all the previous spec/contact lens rx, spec orders, contact lens order and invoices all at once! It's a great tool and you will love it.

Grace, Sorry to be a pest, but could you please explain step by step how to do that? I tried following Kraig's steps above and was able to add the appropriate button, but nothing happened and didn't get any "pop up boxes" with the CL history. I also selected "RX History" in the pre-loaded application box as well, but noting happened.
thanks!

Hey Ken, are you sure you're hitting save after you've selected the pre-loaded app? Double check your button in Edit mode to make sure it has an action assigned to it. **EDIT** I just tried it at home and Rx History worked great. I'll include an image of what it should look like in Edit mode.

I try the above screen shot and when I save it warns me "A field can't be linked to itself".
