Our clinic is considering integrating with Solution Reach but we are curious for feedback on how this has worked in other clinics? We like the patient communication aspects of the program as well as the recall and referral capabilities; however, the price is pretty steep. For those of you using the program, are you feeling like the benefits are worth the cost? Please feel free to share any additional feedback! Thanks,
Erin Blanchette

We use solution reach, and have also used Demandforce.. Some sort of patient outreach tool is totally necessary and worth the cost in my opinion. It would probably pay for itself in one or two recall's per month depending on your offices revenue/exam value. You could probably even offset the cost eventually by discontinuing post card recalls if your office is doing those, as email recall is more effective.. Personally, I attempt recalls in every single way possible. We use solution reach, post cards, and schedulers calling a daily list of past due appointments...I prefer Solution Reach over DemandForce because it has more robust integration with Crystal and has more practical features that we can easily use, but really both offer very similar services. I think Solution Reach has a better Newsletter Building tool, and also more advanced texting capabilities. It also allows for you to set up a post appointment survey each patient gets where we get valuable feedback on our customer service and frame selection... Hope that helps!

We love SR. I know they use to have discounts if you were member of one of their partners. You could check into that to help with financial end of it.

Question for those still using Solution Reach: we just signed up, and are nearing the end of our trial. We are having a problem with patients getting calls when their glasses are not ready for dispense. For instance, we always enter the date we expect the glasses to be ready for dispense, but we don't always know for sure if their glasses we/were not shipped until we get the UPS box for the day. If the glasses are not there, we then call the lab for reason/ETA, change the expected date in Crystal, and call the patient with the time change. However, they are still getting a notification from SR that we can't change. What do we do?!

tanyawilk...the patient shouldn't be notified no matter what the expected date says unless you change the status to Notified. Once the status is changed to notify, even if you change it back to something else, they will still get reminded until the order is marked as Dispensed. So, has the order been marked notified, then edited back to a different status? This was something we were frustrated with and had to call a few times to get a thorough understanding on how the eye wear notifications worked.

ashleyhec - When I pull up an order in Crystal, I don't have the option for a "notified" status. I show: created, approved, ordered, delivered, cancelled, hold, redo, returned. What am I missing?

We have been using 4 patient care since 2012 and they have been great. Most recent update allows direct communication with cpm schedule. Online appointments get written directly to cpm and appt confirmations are automatically confirmed. If you haven't looked at them-spend some time. Not sure how pricing compares.

Thank you for your feedback on 4patientcare. What other offerings do they provide (other than reminder calls and online scheduling)?

Automated recalls based on whatever you want to use. It could be date based, recall based or based from last exam. They do mailings for you if interested. Special e mails/texts based on birthdays, anniversary to pratice. Sales prmotions to seoect groups of patients. Pay per click advertising. Surveys. Better question is what dont they do....which is nothing that I can think of

We are looking for a new best 3rd party Recall/Scheduling system. We currently use SolutionReach but it is not completely compatible when using as an enterprise account with our two locations. Does anyone have any suggestions for multilocation practices?
