What does the Fee Included area mean? It is highlighted but I am not sure what is suppose to go in there or the purpose of it?

In Billing, when you take a payment and hit the Save Payment button it shows up there. Donna

I think I may be looking for the same answer. But if not and I could get an answer that would be great. It's when "Line item posting payments" that I see this box. I suspect that it has to do with reporting accurately but IDK.

If I had to guess, it would have something to do with the Xcharge Credit Card Processing Integration... In some states it is legal to "surcharge" customers some of the cost of running a credit card on your terminal (Although for Optometrist I would advise you not to).. I would imagine there is an option in Xcharge to "Auto-Surcharge" an amount to the patient as a credit card processing fee.. THIS IS NOT LEGAL IN TEXAS which is where our practice is located..
