We successfully got this instrument integrated with crystal. However, when it populates into crystal fields, it does not add the (+) sign, zeros get populated into cyl fields, and axis does not populate as 3 digits. I just wanted to see if others had this experience and if there is any solution. I was told to contact Marco, but I figured someone here would know if it could be resolved or not before I make that call.

I import all my AR/AK/LM data from my RT 5100 console and my adds import with the + so that wasn't a problem for me. I also didn't care about not having a 3 digit cyl with an imported field because it can't have a typo or a transposition. I didn't like zeros in the cyl, axis, add and prism fields so I programmed my import buttons to correct the format with if/then buttons after importing all the data fields. To clear the cyl and axis fields when no cyl: If Cyl field equals 0, Then set it's axis field to blank (clears out 0 axis values when no cyl) If Cyl field equals 0, Then set the cyl field to blank (clears the 0 from the cyl field) To convert zero axis to 180: If Axis field equals 0, Then set Axis field to 180 (have to do this after clearing out the 0 axis values from no cyl) To clear a zero from Add, H and V prism fields: If field equals 0, set field to blank My import fields were all plain text fields. I think setting the text fields to Rx Field type as described at this link crystalpm.proboards.com/thread/935/designating-text-fields-rxwould work with imported data too but that function came out after I'd already programmed my work around. I don't really like using the Rx Field type because they have the F9 buttons. My fields are the minimum width needed to fit the data so the darn F9 button blocks part of the data as it is being entered. I set my SpecRx2 fields to Rx Fields because I have some buttons that calculate specialty Rxs and that was the only way to get the plus sign and 2 decimal points. Marcia

good, sounds like something can be done. Now...getting around to programming these buttons like you say...
Thanks!
