Hi Erica. How do I add an image to the template in my records tab? I click on the image of the eye in my records then have an option to pull up an image from the template that I can then draw on and save my results. Medical Records Pictures: (example: both, internal, external, cornea). I want to add an image that stays in the template for a corneal cross section. It is needed to show the depth of an injury.

If you edit your medical records, there is a field type called Picture Box that you can place on your template. It has picture settings for Crystal PM Image or Eyescape and other options. Marcia

I would not like to add a new field, I would like to add it to the options already in the picture box on my record. I have 6 options when I click on Medical Records picture box, (Both, internal, external, cornea, dot matrix, amsler grid, webcam, upload Dicom, Upload and a few more. If I use upload I can add the image I have of the corneal cross section, but that only does it 1 time for that record. I would like to add it to the list of options to choose from. Is that possible?

Sorry, you mentioned template so I thought you wanted to change your template. I don't have an answer regardless, but I also don't quite understand your question. Are you saying you want to upload multiple images to that exam record on that date and you can only get one image to upload? I suspect those options are hardwired into the software so if it only lets you do one, you are stuck without an update to the program. It may not be what you want but you can always upload the images to the Files section. The file date and label will indicate what it is and when it's from and you could make a comment in the med rec that the images are there so you know you have images there. Marcia

This is a good question. I utilize an OPTOS for retinal photos. To correctly bill Medicare, the LCD requires a photo with my report. Here is the link: NGS Medicare LCD for fundus photography In my medical record, I created a separate tab for Special Testing with fields for each test, the indications and interpretation. What would be the best process by which to attach the photo to the record? Should I use a DICOM image? Upload the file? Use a link? Thanks
