Would love feedback for those using the on line appointment scheduling. Biggest concern is on former patients when they long in that have "unique" names. Mc with or without a space, hyphenated names, when an insurance card is different from their "Preferred name" . I understand it detects the patient by their date of birth, but concerned it would create duplicates?

I have not had an issue with duplicates. Not sure if only new patient's are using it or it is finding and adding into correct pt. We mostly LOVE the scheduler and so glad i switched from the free schedule me in. I had no way of adjusting times for exams that were not 15,30,45 or 00. we had 20 min exam times at the time so it didn't match up all the time...and we had to remember to add in right away before someone took the slot. This is MUCH better.

I am also wanting to know more about various offices' experiences. Specifically- can you customize the fields? On the example it only shows one insurance option - but could we make a 'vision ins' and a 'medical ins' category? When it sends the reminder does it only send an email- or a text option? And is there opportunity for online reviews through this platform? What has been patients' response? I tried the email listed but it bounced back... thank you 😊

You can keep what you have in computer or you can write in not just the name but also the description so patient's understand the options better. this is direct from website. notice my handwritten options and descriptions that can all be customized. the insurance is general. this is why the email to fill out paperwork online comes into play. MOST patient's that request online appointments fill out paperwork same way. Since this info comes directly from your system set up, it is easy for the patient's to fill in, not just medical but any and all vision insurance. we changed out insurance names in defaults to include medical, vision exam 1, materials 1, exam 2, materials 2. There are many pt that are covered under both parent's insurances so having 3 options wasn't really an option. P.S. Kristen no longer works there, use info@crystalpm.com and they will sort and give to person in charge of that section.
