Is there a way to give my technicians access to my e-prescribe under their own login?
Yes!
Log into AllScripts under your account and go to the settings tab. You will be able to add a new user.
You can create a POB (prescribe on behalf of) user with or without doctor authorization.
**Keep in mind that if you choose to require authorization, you won’t get a notification in Crystal. You will only see that there is a script which requires approval when you are logged into AllScripts. If you would like to require authorization, it may be a good idea for your employee to send you an instant message after they e-prescribe.
Once your employee finishes creating their account, they will be able to e-prescribe.
To tie everything together in Crystal:
It’s best to navigate to Admin->Employees, double click on an employee name who has an AllScripts account.
Enter in their E Prescribe Username & Password and click Update.
While they are in the Records section, they will be able to click the E-Prescribe button.
**There isn’t any additional charges for POB accounts
