Spell Check feature would be amazing! I get the fact that we use tons of abbreviations and short hand but on at least half of the tabs we hand type information, especially with our 'Summary Tab' being used as Correspondence Fax Page to send to PCP etc & our OMD's for referrals.....and esp w/ staff hand typing Chief Complaints. Most spell checkers have "add" features which after a while would catch up to all of our abbreviations and our big words after a while! HELP...PLEASE!!!!!

I'm very surprised that Crystal does not have spell-check. Respectfully, it is 2023 and should be standard on any program at this point. Ironically, this Forum not only has auto-fill but also has grammar and spell-check function.
While it is true that charting is chalk full of internal jargon and abbreviations, there is also a lot of remedial spelling that gets missed due to the speed at which opticians, technicians, and Doctors add data to a patients file or chart. It looks bad when a clinic is audited, or a records transfer is initiated, and a spelling error is missed because the program does not alert to an error.
Please consider making this a priority for 2024!
