A current task can have text/comments appended to it, but the date can not be revised to move the task out to a later date (or previous date). I would like to recommend that, in a future update, Crystal should add the ability to revise a task date. This would save time and the hassle of having to append the text of a task, signing off on it and creating a new task to simply set the date out further. Thanks!

You could also open, copy and past into a new task...this keeps the original dates to show how old something is OR you can manually wipe them out, than use the date function to make a future date...or a recurring task, if needed. this way, you don't lose any data and don't have to "see" the task again until that pre determined time frame. it's worked for us.

We currently do this and it's not very efficient. Some of our power users have twenty tasks daily and signing off/recreating a task just to move the date out seems like way more work than it should be. Thank you for your input!

A to the MEN! I completely agree. It has never made sense to me that you can't change the suspend date for a task for items you want to follow-up on instead of having them sit on your Task list indefinitely (i.e. Check claim status for a pt, only to be told by Insurance CSR that claim is still processing and to check claim status again in another 1-2 weeks). I don't like seeing items like this on my task list when I can't do anything about it for 2 weeks. If they stay on my task list, it causes the task list to get out of control, which loses the effectiveness to manage tasks properly. It's a pain and time consuming to have to copy the task info, sign off on the old task, only to create a new task with a follow-up date to pop-up on my task list 2 weeks out, etc. Please, please, please provide this feature.

This is one of the biggest requests I hear from our office staff. This would save so much time when you're trying to get through 20 follow ups in a day that don't answer. Big thumbs up from us.
