Importing e-prescribe medications

What happens to the existing medications listed in the Crystal's medications table when the CCR is imported from the Drug Rx tab?  Does it replace whatever is in there with the data from Allscripts or does it append the Allscripts data to the Crystal medications table (or something else)?  I've only used the CCR button on the Drug Tab to import meds a handful of times and only for new patients.

Also is there a way to upload our meds list to Allscripts?

Good question - I'm also interested in hearing if there are any updates planned to the meds list. I realize it's a specific list, but there are many meds that are not on the list given or the mg is not listed. I would like the ability to add on the fly to the meds or allergy lists. Not all reactions are listed on the allergy list. I feel like I'm working with one hand tied behind my back.
