There is currently a way in Records to link to the CPT Code, Description, etc. of Procedure Codes, but is there a way to link to the Procedure Code Fee? We are trying to build a Contact Lens pricing calculator that will integrate into our Exam Record, but ran into that snag. I was hoping that we could reference the prices that are already in our system.
Thanks very much!

The CPT/Billing/Description fields are pre-programmed on the back end of the software, but there isn't a field for pricing that works in the same manner. You could create a field next to each billing row for pricing and attach the price to a billing code button, that way when you press the button it inserts the CPT/Billing/Description and price. This would require a button for each CL you wanted. The downfall to this is that if you change the pricing in Admin->Billing, you would need to adjust the price on the button as well. I was thinking that an "if/then" button would work but due to multiple rows it would be too tricky to set up. Long story short, it should be possible using a workaround and will require some button set up. If you think this may work and want to discuss further email me so we can set up a time erica@crystalpm.com

Thanks for writing me back! You guys are always so great about that.
I like your thought about making a unique button for each contact lens since it would make it much easier to keep track of individual prices. My original thought was to build it all into one button and have the button reference a drop-down menu. (Or have the drop-down change the values of fields once something was selected from it.. somehow.)
I'll be happy to fiddle around a little bit, but if I start having a tough time I'll send you that email.
Thanks again!
