The options for this report are linked to your frames page defaults I think, which can be edited in Admin>Defaults>Frames Page Defaults... If you are running these reports to establish an understanding of optician's efficiency then there are some good ways to do that in my opinion. We bonus our opticians on a stat we call "Revenue generated per hour worked"... To establish this we run a regular sales report. All our optical billing codes are in an optical category. At the top of the sales report you can select employees who have the "track this employees sales" option checked in their profile page. I will select each of them and see how much revenue in the Optical category they each generated. I use the Patient Amount column because if you use Total Billed opticians will be more inclined to give discounts to drive their Total Billed numbers up. Using Patient Amount which is what should be collected from patient cash gives us a better idea. I devide their total Patient Amount in the Optical category by their total hours worked over the month to get a rev/hr value. We then rank the opticians and the top ranked optician gets the largest bonus on down to bottom ranked who gets lowest bonus amount. Just some insight into how we do it in case your interested.
