If and when a patient needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, it would be nice if the system would create a pop up that allows us to enter "why" they need to reschedule/cancel. Especially if it would track the date and time they cancel and would prevent us from having to 're document" in another area of the system. The "show log" is helpful, but would like it to attach in the phone notes automatically. Not sure about other offices, but we all naturally "like to know why" and of course, history quite often repeats itself with some patients.

This is how we solved this, before you cancel the appointment, make a note before the pt name in the Notes box of the cancellation reason and then when you run the schedule report and click on cancelled appointment's you can see the note of why. Hope this helps.
