I would love to see a way to categorize insurances....medical vs. vision etc. that way I could pull an ins report for all medical insurance or hand my optical staff a report for all vision insurance without having to pull up each individual insurance or wade through things that don't matter to the task at hand.

back when we started I set up Vision plans with "...Plan name Vision" and the medical by just name. i.e. we have ...Aetna Vision and Aetna. The reason is that often the vision exam has no copay while the medical does. If you have only Aetna, for example, Crystal can't distingush plans and correct copays. We use the ...vision for the Vision ins. tabs and the Plan name for Medical insurance tabs. This will also sort all the Vision plans together for the pop-up list. Its kind of a work around but it is effective and easy.
I haven't done it myself but I think you could set it up that way when you add an insurance tab it does allow you to add plans under it. I haven't used that function but from what I've seen you could probably do that.
