I'm trying to send missed/cancelled appointment cards. I'm finding that the Schedule Report or Correspondence Report is not sufficient to do what I need. If I go to the Missed Appointment Report from the Cancelled/Missed Reschedule Report, it does not allow me to send to Word. It only allows printing of the list (and no sorting of the columns). The full list also includes rescheduled appointments, so I have to manually remove all that were rescheduled where the patient actually showed up. The correspondence report does not have option for last MISSED appointment, and the fields for Word do not include last appointment date. If I select last exam date, it does not include the missed exam date, so the card looks like they missed the one last year which they actually made.
This is reminiscent of the problem with send appointment reminder cards - there is no way to include the field for next appointment. For Crystal to be fully functioning, I think we should be able to send out the correspondence we need. What is the expectation for us to be able to contact patients regarding missed or next appointments? That we pay another fee to another company to do it for us? IMO, I should be able to do everything I need with what I have. And next/missed/cancelled appointments are standard. If there is a way to do what I need within CPM, I would appreciate knowing what I've missed.

I agree, I would like to see the correspondence report expanded upon and many more search criteria added in. I don't like using the comparison to other software bc I admit it is a bit short sided considering there are many things Crystal does better than others, but the reality is that optometry practices need to be able to isolate certain criteria such as these to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. I know other software such as Maximeyes for instance have capabilities of hitting "ctrl F" in any field inside the EHR and searching the entire database for matching or partially matching criteria with the availability to export resulting patient lists to a template like word to fill in basic data. I don't know if something like that will ever be available in Crystal bc of the amount of customization available in records, but I do feel like some of the non customizable areas like the patient page should be more searchable and all lists of patients should be exportable to a word template. The latter part seems easy since its already available in so many reports. Just allow any patient list to be exportable to a template. The first part is more developer intensive but I think it should be a top priority since every single user would benefit from increased research tools.
In short I agree! Hopefully we will see some additions to at least the correspondence report but maybe a whole new data search function!?

Is there a way to make a report to show the adjustment type at time of payment?
