I don't know about the rest of you but everyone sends me "Urgent" tasks and I end up with a sea of red, which is not helpful.
As far as the sea of read, what is your default task type? In Admin - Tasks, I have ours set at "Keep Active Until Signed Off." That way if I'm not in, I see the task days later. And if the task is Important or an Announcement, the task maker can change it.
Our default is "Keep Active Until Signed Off" and we try to train people that the only "Urgent" task is one that needs to be completed within 24 hours. But everyone likes to click the "Urgent" checkbox anyway. I wear several hats so to be able to color code as "Record request" or "Insurance issue" or "IT issue" would be super helpful!
I would definitely second and third the idea of color coding the task section because my task list gets so long it would be nice to organize it better. I would also add that I really like the drop down menu capabilities you just added; however, they only work when in the task section and not when adding a task from the patient section (i.e. under the file tab button). Can you add the F9 drop down options to the create task button on the File tab of the Patient section?
I too would love to see an option for other colors. I usually have a long task list and I like to leave things on it that are pending. So a pending button that turned it a different color than red would be great.
