Ok, so not a fan of the change to the invoices in the latest update. If I click on Invoice Balance, it does not show the invoice balance for each insurance or patient - it shows the 'charged' amount to patient and insurance. I'm looking at an invoice with a balance for a secondary insurance, but I can't see it in this section. I have to look line by line to see the amount owed and why. I don't recall anyone on the forum asking for this change, rather, several of us have requested that the TOTAL balance for patient be highlighted better, so it's not overlooked. Sometimes clicking on Invoice Balance is the only place I can see where there is a discrepancy ( ins1 -$40, ins 2 +$40). If all I see are what was charged this will make my job more difficult, not easier. Nice idea, but please don't break what was working. Find another place to show that info.

I agree. this update makes it more confusing. Don't fix something that never had an issue. The developers should be focusing on issues in future updates that we have requested multiple times not updating something that is not requested or even helpful.

I did not know we could click on "Invoice Balance." Do you still click on on the Dollar amount listed beside "Insurance"? This helps me know what amount is still owing for each INS involved. ~AJG

I believe clicking on "Invoice Balance" has always shown the charge amount. Clicking on the dollar amount for insurance would show you where insurance balances are currently sitting.

I agree. this update makes it more confusing. Don't fix something that never had an issue. The developers should be focusing on issues in future updates that we have requested multiple times not updating something that is not requested or even helpful. I'm way behind and, thankfully, haven't updated in a while but it is disheartening to read that invoices have been made even more confusing. I didn't think that was possible! I too would like developer time to be spent addressing current problems that affect us everyday than adding new features.
