There are 2 stations in our office where the F9 dropdowns do not show up. Where in Crystal do I update that for these 2 computers. Everyone else in the office is able to click on the F9 and see the dropdown choices. Thanks!

I am attempting to add "None" to the drop down list that appears on the exam tab marked "retinopathy severity level". I have been in the editing medical records screen several times, added the word "None" to the list, clicked "File, Save" and the "Stop editing save changes" buttons, but the word "none" will not stay in the drop down list. What am I missing?

I believe, but not certain that some boxes can't be modified because they have fixed answers. I think this is one of them. Why are they fixed? because of the certification board for the electronic medical records. It doesn't always make sense. Look at the list for marital status. You can't be single anymore- only NEVER MARRIED, that doesn't make sense for a 6 year old does it? Race and ethnicity can't be change either. I think the retinopathy answers fit in too. I hope this helps. Elliott

Yes, this is exactly correct. When you are in edit mode, none of the options that are a negative number can be modified as they all tie into government reporting.

thanks Erica for the clarification. I forgot that it is the Negative numbered FID's that are hard coded.
