Is there a way to post a bulk check (one check, w/multiple patients) without going into each account individually?

Hi lpressley,
Of course. Go to Report - Insurance Receivable - Generate report - Choose the insurance in the drop down (example: VSP) - click on mass insurance check. You can post all the payments there, write off, transfer to patient or transfer to secondary insurance.
Tips: If you prefer line item posting, click on the + sign and it will open it up to show you all lines billed If you need to see the invoice you're posting - double click on the invoice # and it will take you to that specific invoice but still has the mass insurance check for you to post.
Thank you, Grace with Crystal PM

Grace,
I am posting line item, in hopes that the patient invoice will reflect how I post. So I do the line item posting, but when I go to the invoice itself, it is showing the general payment. Is there a way for invoices to reflect the line item post?
Thanks,
Autumn

Autumn,
You can view the payment detail by double clicking on the payment line. It will open up the Edit Payment box and will show how much was applied to each Bill Code. This is also where you can make adjustments if the payment was not distributed properly.
