We came from OPTO April 2012. One of the strong points of OPTO was the frame inventory/tracking portion of their program. The reps loved the reports, they were easy to use and 98% were right on with our inventory! It was easy for staff to do a full inventory and see what was off (usually due to our error or the "reuse frame" setting which didn't work well FOR US) but the rest was great. I especially loved the Frame Credit portion of the program. When frames were returned we scanned the bar codes and it created a report with all the frames being returned on it- including the invoice number it was purchased on, the amt we expect to be reimbursed, ... When the credit memo comes in, we would easily clear it from a list stored on the computer accessed by manufacturer so we made sure the $ were cleared.
I'm hoping before Scott retires that some of these truly helpful methods will be brought into Crystal.
It would be VERY helpful to be able to:
store the invoice number of the frame in the inventory
see all frames that we are waiting to be credited - including the $ we expect
clear the $ easily by manufacturer rather than having to go into each frame from the beginning to clear the $
