Can you guys explain how the "Medical Records Completed Checkbox" works? I'm not sure I understand what it's for. Thank you. Andy A way for you to generate a list of charts that are completed vs incomplete. For example, you need to write a letter to their PCP and don't have time right this second, leave that check box alone so you can run a medical record report later and give you all the charts you need to go back and finish.

When we got the update to 4.1.10, it appears there should have been a default PQRS table with it as well as default Modifier Codes. We did not get either of these with the update. Is there a way to download those separately?

I'm not sure about the Medical Records completed checkbox, I had one at the bottom of the exam tab for the dr to use. The first patient I saw the new one on, it was already checked and I had just signed her in! Karen Have you had any more problems? I think they just checked all existing med recs at the time of the update. Was this person imported form online forms earlier that day, before the update? It works really well in the med rec reports with the incomplete records highlighted in red AND, now when you click on the record it goes to THAT exam (thank you CPM) and puts you in edit mode (a bonus). It's a little slow but it's sweet. Much better than any workaround I've heard for tracking records. Marcia I watched to You Tube tutorial, it didn't really explain a lot (check here, duh ok). but I can see the benefit for MU. My dr. uses the box I made for him in the exam tab to make sure he is done with a record. I can use this one to make sure I'm done.

Ok, funny thing, now I can't find it??? Oh well, I'll figure that one out after lunch.....

There's not really any training required. When the exam is completed, you check the Medical Records Completed Checkbox. It's on the common toolbar in the upper left corner under the patient name so it's available from anywhere in the med recs. It has a red background when unchecked, green when checked). When you run a med rec report, the patients that aren't checked are in red. You click on them and it opens the med rec to that exam date and turns on edit. No running a correspondenace report to see if your checked med rec complete field is checked. No scanning through the med rec report looking for patients without the summary tab (meaning you haven't checked completed yet). It's smart programming. Marcia

We haven't been doing all that anyway. Maybe we should have, but...anyway, I turned it off until I can explain it's usefulness to the rest of the staff. Then forgot, of course. I'll turn it back on and play with it some.
On another note, I'm noticing a couple of 'glitches' with the new update: 1) frequent unhandled exception errors forcing Crystal to close when entering medicines 2) pop up windows for race and ethnicity hanging open over other windows or Crystal sessions 3) the notes window on the insurance tab is smaller, please move auth exp up next to auth and make the notes field another line taller 4) the allergy hx window does not stretch correctly - the allergies stay in place and the window moves behind it

Since I've swapped out my linked ARRA fields for the actual fields, the drop down ARRA boxes are ALL driving me crazy but I relized today that they will close with the esc key. Today the signed in window mysteriously extended down blocking much of the screen. I'm not sure what did it but it finally did close. Marcia

Just found update to 4.1.11.. running now, hopefully it will fix these bugs. Did you also notice more windows are 'stretchable'? Would like to stretch the schedule and unhide some appts. (hint hint)

The frames sold report has changed, before you could double click totals and see everything that was sold during the specified period. also, before it only showed the sold frames, now it shows everything sold or not. Could we get the option to double click totals again? Also, possibly add a check box to show all frames or only the sold frames.
