The deadline for Meaningful Use Attestations has been moved back to March 31st of 2014. Please contact support and schedule a time for an Attestation with James if you require assistance. (Attestations typically take around 45 minutes to complete) It is also recommended that you have James review your Meaningful Use Measure Report for your reporting period before scheduling an Attestation. This will ensure you are meeting all of the requirements to get your reimbursement. You may register/attest for Meaningful Use at the following website. ehrincentives.cms.govAlso make sure you enter your username/password in correctly for the EHR Website... After three unsuccessful attempts Medicare will lock your account and you will be forced to call them to reset your log in information. Passwords for the EHR Website will also need to be reset after 150 days of inactivity.

I thought that if we attested in 2013, then we could pick our quarter to attest this year 2014 and it didn't have to be done by march 31st, 2014

Shame on me for waiting until the week before this is due....but anyhow: In CQM, I'm still getting funky numbers, which I was told 4-6 weeks ago would be remedied. Specifically, here is a screen shot of my tobacco cessation page. A cursory look through the 597 patients listed as 'eligible' for discussing smoking cessation, reveals that most if not all of them are actually listed as ", Never smoker", so obviously there is no indication that I should be discussing cessation.
Is it possible that we need to update, in order to have access to the fixes that were supposedly made...we are still using version 3.6.30? Appreciate the help, Jonathan

We upgraded to the newest version, hoping that would fix the issue, and the same numbers are coming up. For smoking cessation, we have 152 eligible instances, and only that meets the criteria. I looked at about 30 of the eligible instances, and they all have "never smoker" listed, so not sure what Crystal is reading that makes them "eligible" for a discussion of smoking cessation. Grrrr. I've heard that the actual numbers don't matter, we just need to send it in, but I can't imagine that Medicare is going to be OK with submitting numbers that don't meet the % requirements for a given task/measure.
