We have reading glasses, AR cleaner and several other items under the Miscellaneous inventory but they we can't get them into the invoices when we sell them. How can we get them to show they've been sold?

Hello Virginia! You will want to make a generic bill code for your misc. items. Go to Admin->Billing->Create New Bill Code Enter in a bill code, a description and a category if you want. You will NEED to check off Contact Lens or Misc in order for this to work! Click ok to save your changes. Now when you are in an invoice, add the bill code and you will be prompted to enter a UPC or search for the item.
If you need any assistance with this please call us in support 800-308-7169 x1
Thanks! Erica

You could also just copy and paste the code directly into the billing code section and it will not prompt. Just assign a random (or real sku) in Misc. inventory and copy it into billing screen. You will not have to go through the hassle that you do for the frames to be added/removed from inventory. Very easy and efficient!

Create a Misc Inventory item and assign an SKU to that ite m. Create New Bill Code for that item under Admin/Billing Check Contact Lens or Misc on that new Bill Code window so the Always Use UPC field displays Paste the SKU you assigned for the Misc Inventory item into the Always Use UPC field Marcia

Example above is for our 4.5 oz anti fog cleaner. I added into inventory. assigned sku and added sku to bill code selecting the "always use sku" option so it automatically takes out of inventory.
