Has anyone found a way to save/print/export the fee schedules from each insurance company? I need to change some of our pricing and will have to re-enter all the fee schedules. Would like to have a reference sheet to go by. Currently I'm stuck doing a copy/paste (several times) to a Word doc. That makes no sense to me. I hope I'm just missing something here.

Just an update. Spoke with Kristen Friday, the answer is no, but she is taking to the developers to see about adding that feature. They thought changing prices in the billing section did not change the fee schedules. Not true. Hopefully we will see this addition soon!

If you change the U&C fee, we have to erase what you set up in the insurance fee schedule. Your Reimbursement may stay the same but the write is now going to be different. Plus, insurance changes their fee schedule every year.
So the best thing we can ask the developer is to have a print to file option under the insurance fee schedule so you can export and then simply import when done.

That, or even a print feature that doesn't export/import. I at least wanted a reference sheet. I already update 3 fee schedules, not looking forward to having to search them all out again b/c of our pricing changes. Print List only prints the list of insurances from wherever you are. Would like it to print what info you are looking at - be it insurance list, fee schedule or individual insurance details.

Print option would be great so our print to file would work perfectly here. Import would be a bonus.

Has there been an update to the EXPORT/IMPORT insurance fee schedules?
I have been successful in exporting INSURANCE fee schedules to Excel and making modifications to the insurance fee schedule. I have NOT been successful in importing the INSURANCE fee schedules back into Crystal. When I import an insurance table into Crystal, it does its thing and says "DONE" but no changes are made to the original insurance fee schedule. What is the trick to importing the modified insurance fee schedule into Crystal?

This is a blast from the past. I gave up on this request, never got anywhere with it and CPM. To answer your question, I would have to suggest either magic or luck. Maybe you'll get a better answer from CPM. Good luck!

The two main things that would prevent the import would be if you changed anything other than the amounts in the columns. You cannot change names or remove codes/headers or it will not import. Also it could be that you still have the file open on your desktop. If the file is in use, it cannot be imported.

You should be able to take that same existing insurance fee schedule and import into each insurance with no problem. Are you trying to import the fee schedule somewhere else?

I'll call support. I'm not able to import a new fee schedule over a preexisting insurance fee schedule.

I, just now, successfully reloaded a file I had exported weeks ago. They need to fix the percent off to allow all money to go to discount instead of expected by insurance. I got sick of waiting for this simple request so I am in excel spreadsheets, cut and pasting from one column to the other and reloading them all back in, in my "FREE" time... just remember to add the .csv to the end of every file. I know this is obvious for most, but, just in case.

Where does one successfully find insurance fee schedules, let alone an importable document?

Where does one successfully find insurance fee schedules, let alone an importable document? Sadly, you find them from each insurance and you MANUALLY do it yourself...or pay someone else to do it that knows insurance at your company. I did say I did it in my "free time" You can do the discount plans really simply. They are, for the most part, just a 20% discount off anything not listed on a LIMITED plan matrix sheet. Use one to set to 20% (like the VSP Access plan) then just copy that plan over into any other discount plan (or any plan you know offers up a similar discounts) and just change the line items that are all outside that 20% discount scope. I found that to be the fastest way to set many plans up. The VSP ones took me the longest because they only have 2 major plans here and they have EVERYTHING spelled out for you. The Davis discounts and eyemed discounts were really easy because it's just a few line items to code, everything else is 20% off...except contacts, which I left alone and allow staff to use their discretion. The biggest hurdle is remembering to change EVERY line item you change or update in the billing code screen. This is why I always backup, change, backup and restore if something goes wrong. This process and my ridiculous amount of backups has saved me more than once when power supplies or hard drives fail on my server.

Currently trying to create our fee schedules for EyeMed. With all of the different plans EyeMed offers, this is going to be a chore. Does anyone have a .csv that I can look over to help guide me through this process? What I am really looking for is an example of an EyeMed fee schedule that offices have already successfully entered into crystal. I know that I will have to change values based on my individual contract with EyeMed. Thanks in advance.
