When I run the daily report it tells me that we have some open routing slips and medical records. I know what they are - but am unsure what to do with that information. It gives the option to close all - but I am afraid that will make us lose data. Please advise.

Hi Kyle,
You are correct. When you choose to close all, it will delete all open routing slips. You should check to see why they are still open route slips and not turned into an invoice. you can delete them one at a time instead of close all.
Hope that helps.

What about the open medical records?

Closing the open medical records will simply mark them complete. While you are on a medical record, there is a little check box in the upper left hand corner. This is totally optional! Not required for meaningful use or anything. We had a ton of clients that wanted a way to be able to mark when their records are complete and to be able to run a report at the end of the day as a reminder that they may need to add in additional information. Long story short, marking them complete will not delete any information
