Correspondence Report = To narrow down patient search criteria Example: You want to know how many patients you saw this year were diagnosed with Glaucoma.
Daily Production Report = To see all the charges for a particular day, end of day report to balance your deposit.
Multi Day Production Report = To see all the charges for multiple days (month), end of month report.
Sales Report = If you or staff are paid based on commission, you can customize that in this report.
Claims Report = To see all claims activities
Patients Receivable Report = Generate a list of patient accounts receivable and able to print mass statements out from here.
Insurance Receivable Report = Insurance account receivable and also post insurance payments here by using mass insurance check feature.

How can I track monthly receivables from insurance companies? Can I run statistically reports on how many patients are seen from different insurance companies?

For the monthly receivables from insurance companies - simply run a insurance receivable report and you can see by individual insurance amount due or total amount due. You can also break it down by date range (current, 30 days past due, 60 days...etc)
If you want to get a report on how much you've collected from the insurance company - run a multi day report (monthly, from the 1st of the year...etc) and you will be able to see how much you've collected as a whole or again break it down by insurance companies.
For the statistic on how many patients were seen and what insurance they had - you can run a correspondence report. UNCHECK the criteria you want to include in the report. I know, it's kind of backwards on this but you UNCHECK instead of checking the boxes (as you can see all the items are checked initially.

Grace, When I run the multi day production there are lines for insurance checks and insurance EFT. When I click those it gives me all the individual patient entries. None of the entries show which insurance is involved, the insurance column is blank. But that aside, I'm looking for the total amounts received from each insurer for a given time period. How do I find that?

Hi Brad,
Please see my post above - You will need to run a Multi Day Report (not Multi day production) if you want to see the total collected from each insurance.
Thank you, Grace

Hi Hec,
no... not to my knowledge on either of the things you mentioned. I know we're working with another company called The Edge that will be able to take the numbers out of Crystal to give you all kinds of reports for what you're looking for.
Sorry I do not have a better answer for you.

Good morning Grace: I noticed that my staff did not bill patient's insurance for a visit. Is there a report to give a summary of patients that were examined and not billed to insurance?

Good morning!
The easiest way to find out and make sure all patients seen on a particular day had been invoiced out would be to go to schedule tab and click display invoices. You will see an invoice # show up next to each patient name. If one was not generated, it won't have an invoice #.
Hope that helps! Grace

That was extremely helpful tip. I am attempting to close up any areas where patients slip through the cracks and are not billed. One other question can I track whether the invoices have been sent to insurance company via office ally.

Hi, Is there anyway to pull up all patients with birthdays in a particular month? Most definitely! Go to Reports - Correspondence Report - uncheck "Birthday between" and put in a date range then Generate
