I believe this has been addressed elsewhere on the forum, but I can't find it, so requesting again. When you make an appointment for a new patient and add them in, the SSN button for the Insurance ID populates with hyphens xxx-xx-xxxx. Medicare will reject this id, so we have to override the number and take out the hyphens. Please fix so that the ssn does NOT include the hyphens in the Insurance ID field. We have seen several rejections due to this. Not all employees deal with insurance, so they do not know/remember to remove the hyphens.
Thanks,

Yes, when you add a new patient and use that button SSN, it does come over with the dashes. If you do it from the actual patient tab, it doesn't.

Yes, I know it does. That's why I'm requesting it to be fixed. Otherwise, the ability to put the SSN in the insurance id from the new patient add is irrelevant. You still have to go back to the patient tab to do it correctly. So what is the point?
