Is there a way to have the PQRS system stop asking a question once it has been answered?

On the pop-up window there is a button that says "stop asking questions......." or some such. That is what we are using atm. But keep in mind that for the most part we really don't know what we are doing.

Yes, Dave, You're probably not the only one who doesn't know what they are doing with this, me included I'm trying to comply with the requirements while not adding extra work. I've found the button your referring to, but in my mind, the computer should be smart enough to see that the question has already been asked and answered. If patient encounters always went perfectly and I never went back to double check on my entries, this probably wouldn't bother me so much, but I almost always review my findings and the window pops up often when I'm switching between tabs. I know what you mean. I tend to to go back and forth between tabs a lot and just when I think the patient encounter is over, the patient always asks an additional question or makes a comment such as "is it normal to see flashes of light when I look to the side?" I agree with you. It should not re-ask the same questions that were answered.

Curious how PQRS will be effected by ICD-10 and if we will need to do a system update once we go live with ICD-10 codes or if the system will automatically switch over?
