I am in the process of installing the EyeSuite software on our exam room computers and have a problem to sort out. I'm getting the message:
"MySQL Server 4.x found. EyeSuite does not support MySQL version older than 5.0. Further details on upgrading from a MySQL Server 4.x can be found within the installation instructions."
I know there have been issues with trying to upgrade MySQL under Crystal, so I am hesitant to upgrade. Anyone else have this issue or have successfully integrated the EyeSuite software on the same computer as a Crystal Workstation?
Thanks,
Mark

Anyone else have this issue or have successfully integrated the EyeSuite software on the same computer as a Crystal Workstation? Thanks, Mark It was a nightmare getting EyeSuite installed. The original two techs at Haag Streit that logged in to install it didn't know what they were doing and just said we can't get it to work and basically hung up on me! I finally got another guy that got it installed with no problem but I can't remember his name. My EyeSuite MySQL "server" is on a different computer than my CPM server. I was told that CPM was compatible with MySQL 5.0 long ago but I've never messed with it. Kraig recommended having the databases on separate computers. He said they could be on the same computer if necessary but it would take some special manipulation to do that. I was having enough problems getting it working as it was so I told them to keep it on a different machine. Marcia

Thanks, Marcia. John gave me some pointers along the lines of what you have experienced. Hoping I get the same person to help me that eventually was able to help you.
