Does Crystal interface with Vision Web?

go to admin go to vision web. set up. box appears in frame order page when you hit edit. It should say configure for vision web. Takes 3 min to set up (at the most) You will need to add the labs in defaults for drop down and link them to the vision web account (or vise versa)

Aha! That's why I didn't find it in the Integration tab. Does anyone have experience using Vision web vs. DVI? I've heard Vision web is a much cleaner connection to Crystal (less double entry) but am curious if that's true.

I can't say from a use it everyday standpoint of course BUT you do have the option of linking your defaults section for both DVI & VisionWeb.
It works a little differently for both...Crystal sends the info into DVI so you don't have to re-select.
With VisionWeb, you select all of the options and VW sends the info into Crystal.
Either way it requires set up, if you end up wanting to configure after you do the integration we can schedule you with a trainer.

Erica - the document doesn't describe going into Visionweb first and sending the info to Crystal - but the other way around - similar to DVI?
Does the lens type and material transfer over? It's not working on my practice one - is there a conversation table I need to set up?

Yeah, the linking part of it is not something that was easily conveyed in a PDF. I actually haven't linked VisionWeb with billcodes. Once you have everything linked up, it should carry over. If you want to get that set up the best person to teach you would be adam@crystalpm.com.

Thanks, Caitlin it's cleaner, quicker and easier...just beware of OC heights. the are done as split B for now...already complained about that one, so maybe it will get fixed in a year or 2  |
