I don't know if anyone else has run into this but I've recently had problems with windows that I'm viewing (Rx, Frame/CL order, Reports, etc) suddenly disappearing. They are moving to the bottom layer without clicking anything. I finally tracked it down to the mouse cursor going over the area for the pt sign-in box. I have notified Crystal and hopefully that can be fixed. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone else was having possessed windows.

Yes we also have this same trouble--it makes for a lot of extra clicking and trying to find your window !

Hey, if I click in just the right spot, I can make ALL the windows disappear! Don't know where the magic spot is, but I manage to find it every so often!

Are you using a Remote Desktop connection to connect to a server that runs Crystal PM? If so, then it appears that the problem is with the Remote Desktop software on Windows 7. Windows 8 machines use remote desktop protocol 8.0 or 8.1. If you run windows update and go under optional updates then it will show an update to remote desktop protocol 8.0. Just install the optional update and you should no longer have the disappearing windows. Hope this helps.

Nope, on local machines, networked with server running Crystal. We just attribute it to one of Crystal's quirks.

We have this issue as well, we use both local crystal installs as well as Remote Desktop Servers running 8.1 RDP. There are times where we cannot get the window to come forward and have to force quit because the program is locked up waiting on that window or error to be closed.

Be aware, there are times when dialogue windows will pop up behind other windows and will not let you go further until they are closed. Try hitting 'enter' when a window hangs up and see if that helps. It doesn't help or explain disappearing windows, though. Sorry.

Hey, if I click in just the right spot, I can make ALL the windows disappear! Don't know where the magic spot is, but I manage to find it every so often! Karen This could be due to the "minimize all windows" shortcut on the Windows toolbar at the bottom right corner of the screen. Clicking it will minimize all windows and take you to your desktop. This is all I could think of for minimizing everything like that..
