I don't know about other insurance cos but, for Medicare, I thought you HAD to use the red forms because of the way they scan them. Marcia

Show Tasks button- This lists all the tasks that have been assigned to this patient. I guess that is OK but the problem is that we’re already on the pt by then. What we need is a way to access the patient directly from the Task menu (I personally would prefer a separate Task function specifically for patients, but I digress) and a way to assign a task to a patient from within the Patient or Records section instead of going to Task, looking up the patient and assigning the task and then having to look up the patient again when we want to work on whatever the task involves. I'm with you on this and I've been discussing it with the development staff. Double click the patient's name, it should take you there.

I noticed the fields that I used to link to the ARRA page for Ethinicity, Race and Language does not work anymore. It wont let me link those fields to those ARRA fields. why?

Because those are now government regulated fields and cannot be changed. The best way to solve this is to replace your current fields in your template with the same fields from the ARRA tab. They can be found at the bottom of your Edit Records list as negative (-) values.

I didn't test all my old fields but I put in non-conforming data into several and it still linked to the ARRA tab. The old Native American or Alaskan worked for Race. Running V 4.0.12 Marcia

Marcia, I think your F9 values are actually the same as what the standard listings are supposed to be. I'm comparing your template to our default and they seem to be the exact same values.

No, many of my fields are different and they DID match the original ARRA F9s. For example, for race my template has Native American or Alaskan and the new ARRA tab has American Indian or Alaska Native. But it that DOES still link to the ARRA tab. I also put Nope in my med rec smoking status field and it linked to my ARRA tab. Marcia
