Ok, we also ran the update to 4.4.29, maybe that's the reason for the delay. We have noticed today that when the patient file loads, there is a long delay waiting for the linked accounts field to populate before we can do anything in the record. That has not been the norm until now.

We were on version 4.4.29 before upgrading to Windows 10. We are not noticing delays on the workstation with Windows 10.

Is the whole system experiencing lag or just when interacting with CPM?
We recently updated to Windows 10 (07/22/2016) on the more than 25 machines in our office. Most of the desktop machines dealt with the update without much of hitch, however some of the office laptops experienced lag. We had to manually set the paging file size on these machines and this improved performance.
You can follow these instructions if you would like to try this on your workstations.
-Right click on start menu and open up control panel
-Search for "performance" in the top right
-Click on adjust appearance and performance
-Open advanced tab and click change
-Uncheck automatic
-Click the drive system is installed on select custom size
-Set initial and maximum size to the value recommended by windows
-Click set and then restart

Thanks, Frisco, I'll check it out. It seems to be only in CPM, though. When you open a pt file, or go to a different tab, there is a lag. It is a long delay on the main page, as it loads or tries to load any linked accounts. We've experienced enough delay to click on a tab, then put your hands in your lap while waiting for it to process. Will deal with it more next week. I'm going home now.

Very Strange No, and it's driving us crazy! We open a patient file, click on any other tab (files, insurance..) and wait.....and wait....It's bad enough at times that I will use another window to look at the schedule to find an appointment time while I'm waiting for the patient's file to finish opening. I ran the latest update this week and have had a couple of times this morning where Crystal hung up and had to shut down.

Our stations upgraded on different days, some at night without our permission. At first only my PC was locking up and it seemed to be when I had reports and multiple windows open in CPM. I would have to go to task manager and end task. Now other PC's are having the same problem.

Very Strange So, I don't think this is going to solve the other issues mentioned here, but I was able to find out why some of our workstations were slowing down in the patient search window.. The "ALL" radio button has randomly been checked on some workstations by default instead of the "Only Active" button since the update.. When "ALL" is checked it causes significant lag in regards to your keyboard strokes in the search window.. When we went back to "Only Active" it fixed the issue...

Ours is on all machines now, to the point the Doctor thought one of them wouldn't log in to Crystal b/c it took so long from the CPM connect splash to the login window. The splash disappears and you wait nearly a minute or more (I know, high expectations of a pc, right?) before the login window appears. Waiting 45 to 75 seconds when a patient is standing in front of you is an eternity!

Wow, I'm sorry you are having to deal with that!! I don't think I would be able to maintain my sanity having to wait that long.. Do you know if CPM tech support might be able to troubleshoot it in any way?

I only ever run into issues when it's Tuesday and they pushed the updates... Every one of the computers are windows 10, some touch screen some desk tops and a lot of laptops...no issues.
